About Botox Treatment

Botulinum neurotoxin (Allergan Botox® / Merz Bocouture®) is injected in precise, medically calculated doses to relax the specific muscles causing dynamic wrinkles. Results typically last 3–6 months.

As a GP with full prescribing rights, Dr Hashmi can safely assess and treat you in a way a non-medic simply cannot. Consultations are always free and carry no obligation.

About Dermal Fillers

Dr Hashmi uses hyaluronic acid-based fillers — a naturally occurring substance — to restore volume, smooth permanent lines, and sculpt facial features. Results last 6–18 months depending on area.

Only brand-leading, CE-marked products are used. Dr Hashmi's clinical training means he can safely inject high-risk areas such as tear trough and non-surgical rhinoplasty.

About Profhilo

Profhilo is the UK's fastest-growing injectable skin treatment. Unlike fillers, it doesn't add volume — instead it bio-remodels the skin by stimulating your own collagen and elastin production.

Two sessions 4 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results. Effects last up to 12 months. Ideal for anyone who wants genuinely better skin, not just fewer wrinkles.

Everything you need to know

Why choose a doctor over a beautician for aesthetics?
As a GMC-registered GP, Dr Hashmi has full prescribing rights, clinical anatomy training, and the ability to manage complications that a beauty therapist legally cannot. He can reverse filler, prescribe emergency medication, and has hospital-grade clinical training. In an unregulated market, choosing a doctor is the single most important safety decision you can make.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes — completely free, with no obligation to proceed. Dr Hashmi will discuss your aesthetic goals, assess your suitability for treatment, and answer any questions you have. Many clients book a consultation simply to get expert advice before making any decision.
How long does botox last?
Typically 3–6 months, depending on the area treated, the dose used, and your individual metabolism. Regular maintenance treatments can help extend the results over time, and many patients find they need slightly less product after several sessions.
Does treatment hurt?
Most patients describe botox injections as mild pinpricks. Dermal filler can cause mild discomfort, particularly in sensitive areas like the lips — topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand to maximise your comfort. Profhilo involves a series of small injections using a very fine needle.
What is Profhilo and how is it different from filler?
Profhilo doesn't add volume — it bioremodels your skin from within by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Where fillers sculpt and fill, Profhilo tightens, hydrates, and improves overall skin quality. It's ideal for those who want healthier-looking skin rather than structural changes.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
Botox requires no downtime — you can return to normal activities immediately (avoiding intense exercise and lying flat for 4 hours). Fillers may cause mild swelling or bruising for 2–5 days. Profhilo may leave small injection point bumps that settle within a few hours.
Can filler be reversed if I don't like the result?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved using hyaluronidase enzyme — an important safety advantage over permanent fillers. As a doctor, Dr Hashmi can administer this in clinic if required. This is another reason why choosing a medically-qualified practitioner matters.
How do I book an appointment?
Use the booking widget above to pick a date and time that suits you — it takes under 2 minutes. You can also DM @cosmeticdoc2022 on Instagram or email info@cosmeticdoc.co.uk. All new patients begin with a free consultation.
